🌿 Rise Again: Holding On to Hope When Life Falls Apart

🌿 Rise Again: Holding On to Hope When Life Falls Apart

There are moments in life when it feels like the ground beneath us gives way. A sudden storm hits—a loss, a diagnosis, a betrayal, or a season of heavy uncertainty. Sometimes, it’s not just one thing, but wave after wave of hardship. You might find yourself asking, “God, where are You in this mess?”

Truthfully, I’ve been in one of those seasons myself. Life hasn’t looked normal for me for a while. I’ve faced trials that have slowed me down, worn me out, and tried to steal my joy. There have been days I didn’t have the words or strength to keep pushing forward. But through it all, God has reminded me—He is still here.

Even in the chaos, His promise remains: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

That doesn’t mean the storm won’t rage or that the pain isn’t real. But it does mean this: you and I are not alone. And this hard season isn’t the end of the story.

The trials may try to bury us, but with God, they can become the soil from which new strength, purpose, and hope grow. I say this not from a place of perfection or having it all figured out, but from the middle of it, as someone still learning to rise again every day.

If you’re walking through your own storm, I want to encourage you—don’t give up. The enemy may try to break you, but God is in the business of restoration. What feels like a setback may actually be a setup for something greater. In the fire, our faith is refined. In the wilderness, our dependence on Him deepens. And in the waiting, our roots grow stronger.

So when life knocks you down, don’t stay there. Cry if you need to. Rest if you must. But get back up with the knowledge that God is still writing your story. What the enemy meant for harm, God can use for good (Genesis 50:20).

You may not have seen the storm coming, but it didn’t take God by surprise. And if He brought you to it, He will walk you through it.

Keep rising. Keep hoping. Keep trusting.
You're not alone. I’m walking through it too, and I believe with all my heart—we're going to see beauty rise from these ashes.

Thank you for this beautiful message of reassurance. “Grace” is the main thing- to accept setbacks elegantly. We all gain perspective when things don’t happen as we’d hoped. This touches my heart.
